Since Wednesday 15 May 2019 a commemorative plaque is placed on the wall of Western stand of the MŠK Žilina football stadium. In this way the football club MŠK Žilina pays tribute to more than 250 Jewish prisoners who built foundations of this stand during their forced labour of World War II.
The commemorative plaque was created mainly due to Dr. Kevin Simpson, Professor of John Brown University (USA) within Fulbright Program in Slovakia and Jozef Antošík, President of MŠK Žilina.
